Now that you have your chart table, you can do some cool things with it. Place the two pieces of paper at the top on top of them to make the table! Now that we have the wood planks and paper we need, we can now put them together to create our mapping table! Place two boards in the middle and two boards at the bottom stacked on top of each other. This is obviously not going to be a steady supply, so it’s always best to create an area for planting sugar cane! We need two pieces of paper, which means we only need three! You can also find paper in chests, which can be found in wrecks, fortresses, and villages. Three canes will make three pieces of paper.
Once you have some candy cane, you can make pieces of paper. I recommend planting some of it near the water at your base as it grows relatively quickly and you will always have some available! When you find some, be sure to punch it at the bottom as it will break completely and you can get it back faster. It spawns near water, you may have to go look for it a bit. You’re probably far enough into the game that you have an ax at this point, so go ahead and chop down some trees to collect some wood!
